Hurricane Matthew Relief & Recovery

UNCP students, employees, alumni and friends have lost their loved ones, lost their homes, and lost their belongings. If the basic human needs aren’t met, it is difficult to focus on learning or doing a job. We must continue supporting each other, and this university stands ready to help.

That’s why we have established a Hurricane Matthew Relief Fund for students and employees.

Student fund:

A Disaster Relief Fund has been established through the UNC Pembroke Foundation to assist UNCP students and to help them be fully prepared to continue to work toward their degree.  Contributions to this fund are considered charitable and are tax deductible.  The dollars given to this fund will serve as a resource for students affected by the storm, providing support for book purchases and needs related to the replacement of essential belongings. On the Online Giving page, under Area to Apply Gift, select Hurricane Matthew Student Emergency Assistance Fund.
