What are the requirements for a Gender Studies Minor? (18 hours total)

Core Requirements include 6 hours from the following courses:

  1. Gender & Society (SOC 3540)
  2. Women’s Literature (ENG 2080)
  3. Women and the Development of U.S. Society (HST 3800)
  4. Women in U.S. History (HST 4070)
  5. Social Aspects of Human Sexuality (SWK 3040)
Elective requirements include 12 hours from the following:
  1. Family (SOC 3030)
  2. Women in Society (SOC/SWK 3870)
  3. Exploring Masculinities (SOC3890)
  4. American Indian Women (AIS 4250)
  5. Nursing and Women’s Health (NUR 4210)
  6. Addiction and Women (SOC/SAB 4610)
