• Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • The FAFSA (opens in a new window) is the main form that students should fill out when applying for financial aid. This form determines eligibility for many types need-based grants and loans. A paper copy of the FAFSA can be obtained from most high school guidance offices or from UNC-Pembroke's Office of Financial Aid. This form takes four to six weeks to process.
  • An online version (opens in new window) of the FAFSA is available. Remember to press the Submit button when done. You must also print, sign and mail a signature form to the Central Processor. The above link will give you the instructions.
