The Education Technology Center seeks to provide advanced technology support for our twenty-first century teachers.

MISSION

The mission of The Education Technology Center is to advance UNC Pembroke's School of Education mission and goals. We support students, faculty, area teachers, and alumni in the quest for a flawless mesh between technology and quality instruction.  We provide quality instruction in the form of workshops, model lessons, individualized instruction and tutorials that provide our preservice and experienced teachers with the skills to be a quality facilitator of learning for all students.  What we teach is also designed to instill a sense of pride and accomplishment in each teacher as well.  We challenge our students and the teachers with whom we work to continue their learning and to view technology as one tool in their quest to create life-long learners.

LAB HOURS

The ETC is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. The lab is unavailable only when it is being used for a class. During workshop sessions students are welcome to work in the lab.
