Bio

I began teaching 25 years ago. This is my ninth year at UNC Pembroke. I have taught both elementary and middle school in Scotland and Robeson Counties. My favorite subjects are math and science.

Degrees

I hold a B.A. in Elementary Education from St. Andrews Presbyterian College and a M.A. in Elementary Education from UNC Pembroke. I am currently pursuing a Ed.D. with a concentration in Teaching & Learning from Liberty University.

Research Interests

My research interests include inquiry-based learning, STEM, teacher preparation, and instructional technology.
