Step-by-step: Installing critical WIndows Updates

Please install critical Windows updates if the Clean Access Agent warning window (see below) appears after logging into ResNet. Otherwise, your access is limited to 20 minutes just to finish the installation process. After 20 minutes, you will automatically be disconnected from the network.

Windows Critical Update Requirement

If this window appears after logging into ResNet, you need to install critical Windows updates by clicking on "Go To Link."

 

Antivirus Software Requirement

If this window appears, you need to install a supported antivirus software by clicking on "Go To Link." You will be directed to the McAfee antivirus download page (free for residential students).

 

Antivirus Definitions Requirement

If this window appears, you need to update antivirus definitions before by clicking on "Update." Antivirus program may launch an update.

 

Successful Login

When all updates are complete, the computer should have unlimited Internet access.
