Revocation solution

While logging into Clean Access, if you get an Alert message -- Revocation information for the security certificate for this site is not available. Do you want to proceed? -- please follow the steps below:

  1. Close the Clean Access login window.

  2. Open Internet Explorer. Click on Tools, then Internet Options.

  3. Click the Advanced tab and scroll down to the Security section.

  4. Uncheck Check for server certificate revocation*.

  5. Scroll down a little farther and check Use SSL 2.0 and Use SSL 3.0. Click Apply and OK. You should now be able to login to Clean Access.

    Note: If the computer is using the latest Symantec Norton anti-virus, the server certificate revocation checkbox in Internet Explorer continually gets rechecked after it has been cleared. Thus, you will not be able to successfully login to Clean Access. If this is a trial subscription to Norton that will soon expire, you may want to uninstall Norton and install the free McAfee that UNCP provides.
