Les Davidson joins DoIT as new Director of Enterprise Applications

DoIT is proud to introduce Les Davidson as the new Director of Enterprise Applications for UNC Pembroke.  Mr. Davidson earned his degree in data processing at the Glasgow College of Technology and has worked for the New Scotland Yard Metropolitan Police in London, the Royal Canadian Mountain Police and the Ontario Ministry of Health in Ontario, University of South Florida in Florida, and UNC General Administration in Chapel Hill.

 

He was instrumental in supporting the Banner system for the UNC System to move the payroll from the state system to Banner. Mr. Davidson’s responsibilities at UNC Pembroke will include installing a project management methodology for application development and support that will allow the university to prioritize projects and deliver the systems to the end users in a timely fashion.

Mr. Davidson started Monday, 3 October 2011 and coaches soccer and rugby in his free time.
