Banner training's impact on DoIT

Our campus is one of 14 schools in UNC that will undertake the implemenation of the SCT Banner product suite this fiscal year. Banner is a modern suite of applications that will eventually replace our current legacy systems and will allow the university to operate in a more efficient manner. This is a major undertaking that will take a minimum of four years to complete. Many offices will be engaged in the implemenation and it will impact the entire campus.

DoIT will be heavily involved in this project. Many members of our staff will be away from campus in training over the next four months. We will endeavor to respond to requests for assistance as quickly as possible. However, we will be operating with a greatly reduced staff and some delays may be experienced. You might find a quciker responce if you contact the Help Desk at 6260 rather than calling individual staff members directly. Please bear with us as we undertake this project.
