 Download and install filezilla:     http://filezilla-project.org            

Open the Site Manager and create an entry for each share you want to access.

The three entries below are for:

  1. UNCP shared files – K: drive share.  Shared storage for groups/departments
  2. UNCP student files – J: drive share.  Student individual storage and Instructor course folders
  3. UNCP user files – I: drive share.  Users individual storage.

 

Settings are the same for each except for the Hostname:

  1. UNCP shared files:
    1. Host:  shared.facstaff.uncp.edu
    2. Servertype:  FTPES – FTP over explicit TLS/SSL
    3. Logontype:  Ask for password
    4. User:  username
  2. UNCP student files:
    1. Host:  users.student.uncp.edu
    2. Servertype:  FTPES – FTP over explicit TLS/SSL
    3. Logontype:  Ask for password
    4. User:  username
  3. UNCP user files:
    1. Host:  users.facstaff.uncp.edu
    2. Servertype:  FTPES – FTP over explicit TLS/SSL
    3. Logontype:  Ask for password
    4. User:  username

 

Use the Site Manager connection button to connect.  Do Not Use the Quickconnect bar.

Enter password when prompted:

Click and drag files to or from the server to your local pc.
