Dr. Barry Adams has worked for Apple since 1987. As its first Education Technology Consultant, Barry used his extensive training with education policy makers throughout the nation. Barry was Director of Strategic Alliances working under the tutelage of Dr. David Dwyer, Apple’s noted education researcher and author of the ACOT program (Apple Classrooms of Tomorrow). His stimulating presentations and workshops are models for understanding the changing nature of education. Adams holds a doctorate in Psychology, Counseling and Educational Administration. He was a member of several university and college faculties in Iowa, North Carolina, and Georgia as well as a Dean at two colleges where he authored two books on future trends in education. After leaving education in the early eighties, he formed a small company in the Research Triangle Park of North Carolina to build and distribute interactive laser discs for business and industry clients. He lives and Roxboro, NC. | |

Justin Fowler is a second-generation digital designer. He majored in advanced animation (Maya) in college, and has led workshops and training classes since he was 16 years old. Equally comfortable in the worlds of electronic design, multimedia, HTML coding and 3D, he is Lead Designer for EdMedica, an international group of medical marketers and educators. Justin holds a second-degree black belt in TaeKwonDo, and has recently moved to Charlotte. |

Mical Fowler has been an art director, thought leader, teacher and status quo disturber in electronic design, multimedia and digital printing since the introduction of the Macintosh in 1984. His past lives include executive stints at a large photography studio, a prepress facility, and a Winston-Salem printing company, as well as being a graphics instructor at Guilford Technical Community College in North Carolina. His seminars reflect a variety of eclectic influences: he frequently includes multimedia and unexpected examples and commentary, quoting assorted geniuses and misfits ranging from Thoreau and Twain to Stan Lee and Kinky Friedman. A Charlotte native now living in High Point, he is Creative Director for a Pennsylvania-based company specializing in international medical marketing. |

Susan Gebhard is an elementary teacher educator in the School of Education at UNC Pembroke. She lives in Laurinburg with her husband, two of three kids (one's at college) and a Scottish Deerhound, and she is a "devil with a blue dress" at heart. | |

Casey Hauser is the service manager and a trainer at Computer Tree. Being an Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist, as well as an Apple Certified Desktop and Portable technician he is well rounded in both the technical and creative aspects of Apple’s hardware and software. His “Intro to Mac OSX” seminars grant users the confidence in knowing they are using the most stable, advanced operating system on the market today. Casey is an accomplished musician. He attended college at Western Carolina University, The University of South Florida, and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he pursued degrees in History, Psychology, and Mass Communications. | |

Marc Mason was president of a textile chemical company for 11 years before following his passion and establishing Action Arts Video Production in 1999. He began by producing instructional videos and shooting local theater, he now produces all ranges of, creative, corporate, and commercial videos. He also teaches Videography and Editing in classroom settings and as a consultant, for Computer Tree in Winston-Salem, NC. “Editing video is a creative outlet for me, there are a lot of technical aspects to great video production, knowing the technical tools is important because it lets the creativity flow. I love producing a beautiful finished product, whether it is an instructional T’ai Chi Video or a Jewelry Product Shoot. Telling the story our customers want is challenging, but it is a challenge I love to take on.” |
