The UNCP Vocal Jazz Ensemble is open by audition to students throughout the university community who have an interest in vocal jazz. The group performs with the UNCP Jazz Ensembles at on-campus concerts, as well as jazz festivals throughout the United States. The group studies vocal trends through the rehearsal and performance of pop, rock, progressive jazz, and other modern forms of music. The Vocal Jazz Ensemble is under the direction of Mr. Daniel Bukin.
