Professional Education
For students seeking a baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education, Physical Education, or Special Education, an academic/professional concentration is required. Students seeking a baccalaureate degree in Middle Grades Education must complete an academic or professional concentration, in addition to one teaching specialty area, as part of their degree requirements.
The Department of Professional Education Programs offers the Bachelor of Science degree in four areas:
- Birth-Kindergarten Education (B-K)
- Elementary Education (K-6)
- Middle Grades Education with tracks in
- Social Studies Track (Under History)

- Science Track
