Proposal Development

There are a number of steps involved in preparing a grant proposal for submission. To simplify the process for you, we have provided a few tools below. We are also available to assist you with every facet of the development process so give us a call to get started.

• The Institutional Narrative (requires Microsoft Word) provides some general information about the history, student body, and academic programs of UNCP.
• Let us help in the search for funding! Provide our office with project information using the Research and Development Worksheet (requires Microsoft Word).
• Proposal Development Checklist (requires Microsoft Word) - A "must-have" for all Principal Investigators and Proposal Writers! This should be printed and kept with your grant file.It provides information regarding each step of the process insuring a smooth and timely submission.
• Budget Worksheet (requires Microsoft Excel) - Hate trying to perform all of those calculations and keep up with the totals? Let our worksheet do it for you. Download this Excel file to your pc or disk, enter your figures and watch the worksheet maintain your totals for you and calculate the Facilities and Administrative Costs too!
