Explore the National Science Foundation

The National Science Foundation (NSF) and Fayetteville State University (FSU) are hosting a one-day workshop on FSU's campus for those who would like to learn more about the NSF and its programs. 

The workshop will provide an overview of NSF, its mission, priorities, and budget.  It will cover the Foundation's proposal and merit review process and NSF programs that cut across disciplines.  Additionally, representatives from the seven NSF directorates and the Office of International Science and Engineering will make presentations on their programs and will also be available individually and in breakout sessions for more specific discussions of potential research proposals.

• When:  8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2007
• Where:  Felton Capel Arena on the campus of Fayetteville State University. Click the following link for the campus map:

• Registration Fee:  $40 to be paid at the door; (pre-registration is required and due by Friday, october 19). You will be reimbursed for the registration fee and round-trip mileage to the workshop by the Office of Sponsored Research & Programs.
