On-Campus Recruitment

Employers are encouraged to schedule interviews with graduating seniors and alumni on campus during both fall and spring semesters. (September - November and February - April). Recruiters should contact our office at least 3 weeks prior to the proposed interview date. Comfortable interview facilities are available and interviews are typically scheduled every 30 minutes. Career Fairs

UNCP is offering a two events for employers to attend for Fall 2008 and two in the Spring of 2009. On Wednesday October 15th, 2008 we will be hosting the UNCP Career Expo. This event will help students and alumni make connections with prospective employers for career information, part-time and permanent positions, and graduate school opportunities. The event will be held in the Assembly Room of the new University Center Annex. Then on Wednesday November 5th, 2008 we will be hosting the UNCP Teacher Education Fair. While all students are invited to attend, education major are encouraged to speak with various recruiters from a wide range of school systems.

Employer Literature

We are happy to distribute and display company literature for students. Please send us brochures, annual reports, videotapes, website addresses, etc. Our employer information files are an excellent way for students to research potential employers.

Employment Results

The University of North Carolina at Pembroke is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and participates in reporting job offers to NACE. Candidates' statistics are recorded and maintained in The Career Center on an ongoing basis. Please keep us informed of further contact with our students.
