MAKE A DIFFERENCE! One individual can make a difference. Many people just like you have made huge strides in the fight against poverty, racial injustices, hunger, domestic abuse, environmental destruction, etc. How? It's simple. They are active, dedicated citizens who refuse to sit back and watch these social injustices happen. They are committed to a cause and they work for social change.

Often, their inspiration begins with participating in a community service project as a young adult. As a result, taking an active role in the community and helping others becomes a part of who they are. Studies show that people who actively participate in community service activities weekly live happier, healthier, and more productive lives. People who provide service to others often gain as much as they give.

After completing your LSOP Registration, search for volunteer opportunities listed our online VolunteerPage. While you are there, create a personal VolunteerPage to track your service hours and receive current volunteer opportunities. You will always stay current on volunteer opportunities and the service hours that you have completed.
