Lumberton Ford-Lincoln-Mercury/Deercroft Golf Course Award for Business Majors (with a concentration in Marketing)

The LFLM/DGC Award was established in October 2009 to support students at UNC Pembroke who are working toward a degree, by helping to defray the cost of their education.

The LFLM/DGC award will recognize a UNCP junior or senior student who is working toward a degree with a concentration in Marketing and actively involved in their community including community service. The recipient must participate in either the Community and Civic Engagement (CCE) or Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) program. The recipient must maintain a minimum of 3.0 QPA. The award is renewable as long as the recipient continues to meet the criteria.

The award is non-endowed with a total amount to be awarded established at $500 per year for one recipient. This award will be distributed half in the fall and half in the spring.

The University will list the LFLM/DGC award is detail in the UNCP catalog and on the University website as long as the gift remains a viable fund.

The Directors of UNCP's CCE and SIFE programs may submit a pool of candidates for consideration. The Office of Financial Aid shall serve as the selection committee. Student Volunteers participants should contact the CCE office at 910.521.6163 or cce@uncp.edu.
