Services Needed: Volunteers are needed in all areas of the county to serve in many capacities. Some provide telephone support to patients and families; others sit and visit with patients in the absence of a family member. Clerical and bereavement volunteers are also needed. Volunteers work around their own schedule and perform only the tasks they accept. Group volunteers are welcome also to visit nursing facilities in their area. Great opportunity for nursing, religion, or social work students to learn more about these fields.
