Students, faculty and staff may join with the CCE volunteer team and sign up for volunteer and service opportunity posted on-campus and with community partners.
How do I receive updates on Volunteering?
Join the CCE Listserv and become a CCE volunteer who receives updates on volunteer and service opportunities, leadership workshops, and other campus events.
All REPORTED service may be verified and documented for registered volunteers. Volunteers who engage in service and document service hours performed individually, with student organizations, and/or academic departments may request and receive a Service Transcript. The transcript is a record of their volunteerism and service recorded with the CCE office.
How do I track my hours?Registered volunteers can track their service hours on-line for each volunteer and service event reported with the UNCP Service community.
Are Volunteers recognized for service?The Office for Community & Civic Engagement is a Certifying Organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award. Register and start collecting your hours toward your first President's Volunteer Service Award.
