College of
Arts
and Sciences is committed to a balanced pursuit of two objectives. In
accordance with the University's mission of placing the highest priority on
excellence in teaching and personal interaction between faculty and students,
the College supports the maintenance and improvement of the quality of
existing programs of instruction. The College also recognizes the University's
commitment to growth and supports the development and implementation of new
programs in areas of demonstrated or projected need or demand.
