Classroom Etiquette
As a UNCP student, you will be joining a community of learners in which you share responsibility for learning. Although Classroom Etiquette is common sense for most students, let's review a few highlights:
- Turn OFF your cell phone.
- Do not talk while the Professor is talking.
- If you are going to miss class notify your Professor in advance. Be aware of your Professor's attendance policy.
- Try not to be late to class. If you are, enter the classroom as quitely and discretely as possible. Try not to interrupt what is going on!
- Do not dominate classroom discussions. Allow your peers to voice their opinions. This shows respect for your professor and peers.
- Keep up with assignments and readings and have them completed on time.
- Do not gather your things to leave until the professor dismisses you.
