Faculty Roles in Student Retention

 

It can be very tough for a faculty member to balance all of his or her course work and still have time to maintain academic relationships with his or her advisees. While trying to engage students in meaningful learning activities, roles have to change to support academic and social needs. Faculty play a large role in retaining a student from year to year.
