Graduate Students Present Posters at Graduate Research Poster Session (March 2012)
Five graduate students in Science Education presented posters on 27 March
2012 for the UNCP Graduate Research Poster and Information Session. Graduate students from across disciplines participated in the Session, which was held in the University Center Annex Assembly room. Students in Science Education were Matthew Dial, Marajo Kellihan, James Sanford, Laura Yoder, and Tiffany Dial (pictured from left to right).
Winners of the session were Anh Pham (MBA student), Brian McCormick (MBA student), and Lindsey Henderson Riley (Elementary Education). Receiving honorable mention were Matthew Dial (Science Education) and Joel C. Mayo (MAT English Education).
Judges for the evening were Drs. Valerie Austin, Warren Eller, Roger Ladd, and Velinda Woriax, all of whom are UNCP faculty members and graduate program directors. Also judging was LTC David Walton (Fort Bragg Director of Education). Dr. Woriax is a member of the faculty in the Biology Department.
