What's New

Department Surprises Dr. Liberty Carroll with a Baby Shower
(April 2011)

The Department of Biology gave Dr. Liberty Carroll a surprise baby shower on Wednesday, 20 April 2011. This will be the first child for Liberty and her husband.

Dr. Carroll, a lecturer in the Department, has been teaching the Principles of Biology, General Zoology, and Developmental Biology courses since 2009. She was highly instrumental in developing the Department's new course for non-majors, Exploring Life's Diversity (BIO 1060).

Regretably, she is leaving the Department, as she and her husband are moving to Boston, Massachusetts, where they will be closer to "home."
