Students are in rolling chairs, wearing mask that represented animals in the rain forest and they are using PVC pipe for their paddles as the pretend to row down the Amazon. They row completely around the room. Each reciting a poem about the Amazon. Horton-Lopez managed to integrate Physical Education, Social Studies and Visuals Arts for this activity.
