Sandi W. Carter

A native of Ohio , I have lived in Robeson County since 1989. After completing my Art Education degree at Pembroke State University , I began teaching at Lumberton Senior High School . During my teaching tenure, I was also involved in teaching at risk students for the UNCP Life Center program and the Carolina Professional Mental Health summer program. I currently am one of the 188 National Board Certified Teachers in Early Adolescence to Young Adult Art in the state of North Carolina . In 2005, I became the Arts Education Supervisor for the Public Schools of Robeson County and I now supervise the Visual Art, Music, Theatre, and Dance programs and teachers for our district.
