The Regional Center for Economic, Community, and Professional Development is a dynamic force that fosters regional collaboration, enhances business development, and empowers communities for the betterment of the quality of life in southeastern North Carolina.  Through initiatives to increase resources, establish networks, and provide training, the Regional center addresses the diverse needs of the region. As the central outreach component of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, the Regional Center creates linkages that advance the University’s ability to contribute to the development of its surrounding community, particularly in the areas of rural economics, education, health, public safety, small business and workforce development.
