The Office for Community and Civic Engagement supports the university’s mission to prepare students for responsible citizenship through education opportunities while providing service to our neighboring communities.  These opportunities allow students to recognize their civic potential and take initiative to develop it. 

Through co-curricular service programs and their new service-learning initiative, students enrich and enhance their education experience through active and engaged service both inside and outside of the classroom.  CCE works with over 100 community based organizations to provide these opportunities to students while working to meet the needs in our community.
