The North carolina CPA Foundation

The NCCPA Foundation continues scholarship program at UNCP

The Sandhills Chapter of the NC Association of CPA’s reaffirmed its financial support of students at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP).  This gift allows the University to continue to provide achievement-oriented academic programs that are the hallmark of a UNCP education.  This support is so meaningful to our students, who benefit from the scholarship and will help provide education for our next generation leaders.  Because the Association and the Chapter is committed to the advancement of the profession among young people, this scholarship has been established to promote accounting education and careers among students from the Sandhills region who may eventually choose to practice in this region.

The North Carolina CPA Foundation Inc., was established in 1980 to further the development of accounting education and the accounting profession in North Carolina. The membership of the Foundation is composed of members of the North Carolina Association of CPAs Board of Directors. These scholarships are made possible solely through the generosity of voluntary donations from individual association members, supporting the profession by assisting the next generation.

The Foundation plays a major role in accomplishing the association’s mission of supporting CPAs and the accounting profession in North Carolina. Through the generous donations of NCACPA members, the Foundation provides numerous scholarships and other monetary contributions to aid North Carolina college students.
