Dear Alumni, Friends and Parents,
It
is an exciting time at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke, not
only for current and prospective students, but also for you - the alumni
and friends of UNCP, and the parents of UNCP students. As The University
reaches record enrollments, increased growth, and wider regional exposure,
we hope you will be proud of all the progress we’re making together.
The success of being the fastest-growing university in the state, and one of the fastest in the region, also brings some challenges. Budget cuts and limitations on spending inhibit what the institution can do with state funds.
That’s why I hope you will consider making a gift to the UNCP Alumni Association’s Annual Fund campaign. Money raised through this campaign helps to pay for scholarships, research, student internships and special projects that create educational opportunities for students. It also helps to pay for Homecoming activities and special events on campus.
Remember, your gift can help take The University of North Carolina at Pembroke to new levels of success, and ensure that many of the projects and programs our students, parents and alumni have come to cherish will remain part of our tradition.
