Biography
I left Zimbabwe in August of 1998 to attend UNC Pembroke. While I was living on campus, I was very active in both athletics and student organizations. I was a varsity athlete on the soccer team for two years and was also SGA treasurer. In 2001 I was voted Homecoming King and was able to complete my undergraduate degree at UNC Pembroke in 3 years. I went on to be hired by Perdue Farms during an on-campus career fair, which turned out to be a huge milestone for my career. Later, I worked for CountiGroup in Atlanta, Georgia until September 2003 when I joined Dewolff, Boberg, & Associates as a Management Consultant. In October 2003 I married Krystale Everette, who I met while in summer school at UNCP!
What was the most important thing you learned while attending UNCP
I learned the importance of open-mindedness.
What advice would you give to current or prospective students?
College is a once in a lifetime opportunity, so one should make the most of it. Also, never party before you study.
Additional Comments
Have a life outside of the classroom by being involved in extra-curricular activities that will mold your career.
