Biography
I attended Roanoke Rapids High School, graduating in 2004. Since coming to UNC Pembroke, I have found that as I become more involved, I enjoy my college experience more and more. I am an Admissions Ambassador, tutor other students in biology, and am a member of the Health Careers Club. I have lived on campus since arriving here as a freshman, first in Belk Hall, and currently in the University Village Apartments. One thing I particularly liked about living in the residence hall was that I always knew what was happening on campus, from movies to dances to hall events.
Why did you choose to attend UNCP?
I chose UNCP because of its small size and accessible and caring professors. My professors always make sure that I get the help and individual attention I need. This has helped a lot, especially in my more challenging classes.
What do you like best about UNCP?
I think the best thing about UNCP is its location. The campus is close to the beach, so road trips are a great weekend activity. It’s also only a few hours from Roanoke Rapids, meaning that I can go home when I want to.
