Biography
I am a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and an Admissions Ambassador. After graduating from UNCP, I plan to attend dental or graduate school.
Why did you choose to attend UNCP?
I chose to come to UNCP because of my campus visit experience. I noticed how friendly and welcoming everyone was, and felt this could be my home away from home.
What do you like best about UNCP?
I like the small class sizes and the willingness of the faculty to help students outside the classroom. In the Fall of 2004, I performed research under the leadership of Dr. Meredith Storms in the field of forensic chemistry. We were particularly studying various fingerprinting methods. This past summer, I worked with Dr. Paul Flowers to perform research in the field of spectroelectrochemistry. The main goal of our research was to determine the amount of metal ions that are located in natural water supplies. Both of these projects have helped make my UNCP experience a positive one.
