I graduated from Fairmont High School in 2003. I am a very outgoing person and set high standards for myself. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am a very determined and hard-working young lady. I enjoy cheering, public speaking, shopping, and working in my church.

UNC Pembroke has a very good science department, is close to my home, and is inexpensive. The school has always been known for its small class sizes as well. I liked this, since I came from a small high school

The campus is very family-oriented. It's also very easy to get in touch with professors whenever you need their help. They are not only concerned about your academics, but also with you as a person

In the future, I plan to attend medical school and eventually open up my own clinic.
