The Office of Financial Aid strives to educate, assist and advise students and their families through the financial aid process.
FAFSA Day is Saturday February 28, 2015. The event is scheduled for 9 until noon in the Oxendine Science Building, room 1246. The FAFSA Day registration for UNCP is now live. Please visit CFNC to review the information for UNCP.
FAFSA Day events will take place in more than 100 locations across the state. Students may participate even if they do not plan to attend the college hosting the event. To register, visit FAFSA Day or call 866-866-CFNC.
Participants should bring the following items: student’s and parents’ 2013 federal 1040 tax forms; the Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) obtained in advance from the FAFSA PIN Site; and a “FAFSA on the Web” worksheet, available at FAFSA , with as much information entered as possible.
Completion of the FAFSA form is a requirement to be considered for all federal and most state financial aid for college, including grants and scholarships. It’s important to complete the FAFSA early to take advantage of all the financial aid opportunities available for North Carolinians.
Experienced financial aid personnel will be on site during FAFSA Day to answer questions that students and parents may have about proper completion of the form.
Students are encourage to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to avoid delays in the Financial Aid Processing.

Get free help completing and submitting your Federal Aid Forms for College
College financial aid professionals will be at Robeson Community College to help families complete and electronically submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms.
College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) and the North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NCASFAA) are pleased to offer this service at no cost to you.
The priority date for filing the FAFSA is March 1st.
