UNCP-RISE is pleased to present its 2013-2014 Cohort 8 Fellows! After completing a competitive application and interview process these students will spend the 2013-2014 academic year enhancing their research and technical abilities that prepare them for futures in biomedical research. RISE Fellows participate in National Conferences as well as Research and Poster Presentations here at UNCP. Under the guidance of a faculty mentor these Fellows will conduct hands-on research in various scientific fields. They will have the opportunity to participate in internships across the country as well as receive assistance in applying to their future PhD programs. Congratulations to these 11 very deserving students! UNCP-RISE is funded by a grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences.
