Photo Description: Pictured above are some of the 26 charter members of the Wakulla Jaycees. As described in the May 12 issue of the Robesonian, the club was chartered on May 8, 1971, with the Prospect Jaycees as the sponsoring club. The charter night banquet was held in the Oxendine School cafeteria and was attended by some 200 Jaycees, their wives, and special guests. Standing in the back row are Bobby D. Oxendine (5th from the left), the new club president, and Avery Nye, Jr. (6th from the left), the N. C. State Jaycee Treasurer and the guest speaker for the evening.
