The month of March is recognized as “National Social Work” month. The Social Work Symposium is an annual event set aside to recognize community and regional partners that collaborate with our social work students and professionals in training, education and internship opportunities. The Symposium provides continuing education through contact hours for professional development across various disciplines in mental health, substance abuse, family and children services, geriatrics, hospice, domestic violence, and etc.
In March 2017 we held our 25th Annual Social Work Symposium.
