Biology and Environmental Science students were among students across campus whose research was featured during the Seventh Annual Pembroke Undergraduate Research and Creativity (PURC) Symposium on Wednesday, 3 April 2013, in the University Center Annex.

This year’s symposium was one of the largest, requiring morning and afternoon sessions to accommodate all oral and poster presentations. As in times past, much of the research was financially supported by the PURC Center and mentored by members of the UNCP faculty.

Members of the greater UNCP community flocked to the annex to view posters, listen to oral presentations, and talk with students. Snacks and live music gave the symposium a bit of a festive atmosphere.
