Middle Grades Education

Welcome to Middle Grades Education...

Welcome to the UNCP undergraduate Middle Grades Education Web Site. Our program prepares professionals to teach young adolescents in the middle grades and leads to a 6-9 teacher licensure in North Carolina. Candidates prepare in Mathematics, Science, Language Arts or Social Studies. Throughout the program, students develop a variety of appropriate methods and strategies that are specifically geared to the young adolescent.  Please contact the appropriate Program Coordinator if you have additional questions or would be interested in more information.
