M.A.T. Candidate Phase I Portfolio

MAT Candidate Phase I Portfolio:

The primary assessment from Phase I of the MAT program is the electronic portfolio produced at the end of Phase I. This portfolio shares its structure with the final electronic portfolio for undergraduate initial licensure candidates, and completion of Phase I, including the electronic portfolio, allows the candidate to apply for initial licensure before completing the degree.

The portfolio will be reviewed by the Area Director for the candidate’s concentration, using rubrics based on the North Carolina Professional Teaching Standards and the Teacher Education Specialty Area Standards. It must be submitted via Taskstream; some elements may require candidates to scan paper documents in order to be able to upload them.
