Web training sessions are available several times a month for I-9 Form completion and for new and existing E-Verify users via the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service site. Please visit the Training and Development section of our website for more details.

Student Employment:

All student positions (graduate assistantships, student assistants, work study positions, etc.) shall be advertised via the Brave Opportunities website in accordance with affirmative action and university policy. Brave Opportunities is overseen by The Career Center. Ad copy from the Brave Opportunites Site (as well as any other sites used (i.e. ESC, NCAA) should be attached to student assignment agreements when submitted for processing.

Temporary Employment:

In accordance with VEVRAA and as a part of affirmative action, UNCP is required to list all temporary employment openings with the local State employment service which will last three days or longer with the exception of the following: executive and top management jobs and jobs which the university expects to fill from within. A copy should be attached to temporary assignment agreements when submitted for processing.

All temporary positions shall be listed with the local Department of Commerce, Division of Workforce Solutions Office (NC Works Online).
