The Nude in Contemporary ARt

A National Juried Exhibition

 

January 26 - February 25, 2009

 

An exhibit of art works exclusively focused on the nude. This is the first national juried competition for the A.D. Gallery. Submissions reflect how contemporary figurative artists use art to explore the infinite variety and beauty of the body or to comment on the human condition. Artists were invited to submit work in any medium and encouraged to consider many aspects of the theme using the figure in a contemporary representation from abstract to realism, from personal to political.
