senior exhibition and juried student showcase

November 6 - December 9, 2005

Senior Exhibition: Graduating seniors Tina Bradshaw and Raymond J. Adrian, III, present their finest work in ceramics, painting, and sculpture. 

Student Showcase: a juried exhibition of student art.

Juror's Statement:

Our primary considerations in choosing the work for this exhibition were aesthetics, content, craftsmanship, use of materials, presentation, and professionalism, which included following guidelines, submitting work on time, etc.  The artist statements were carefully considered in selecting works because the ability to express one’s philosophy is imperative in today’s art world.  Some works were rejected on the basis that no artist statements were submitted. Of course in any selection process there is an element of subjectivity. We were impressed with the overall quality of submissions and the competitive nature of this show necessitated eliminating some quality work. We encourage artists who were not selected for this exhibition to continue to submit their work as each show has its own particular dynamic.
