X by Y: digital art in 2010

An International Juried Exhibition

March 17- April 7, 2010

 

An exhibit of art works that offer a contemporary look at digital art today. This is the second national juried competition for the A.D. Gallery. Submissions for thie exhibition reflect how contemporary artists use digital technologies to explore art making today.

Works in X by Y: Digital Art in 2010 range from large-scale digital prints to a multi media installation. The exhibition also involves several interactive works that reinforce the essential pleasure & playfulness of digital media; a video installation in which the viewer is invited to put themselves into the picture, an work involving sound and digital photography, and a touchscreen work engaging viewers to interact with multiple characters.
